Suicide Bomber Holding Hostages At Clinton Campaign Headquarters In NH
An armed man claiming to have a bomb has taken a number of hostages at Hillary Clinton's New Hampshire campaign office, according to police.

Clinton, who was scheduled to appear at a Democratic campaign event in Virginia, was not believed to be at the office at the time of the incident, according to reports.

A tactical bomb unit has been dispatched to assist local police, and the area has been evacuated, said Maj. Michael Hambrook of New Hampshire State Police.

Looks like both hostages have just been released, I saw it just now on CNN.
Just called D at work to fill him in. I told him all of the people being interviewed (hostage negotiators, etc.) from NH sound like Peter Griffin when they talk. He said "they'll do a bit on Family Guy about th... No, wait - they have no writers anymore", to which I guffawed.

I was thinking just the other day, after seeing some anti-Hillary bumper stickers, about the level of hate for her the right encourages, and how something just like this--or worse--might happen.

Silly nuts. Haven't terrorists* learned by now that news coverage is better at the beginning of the week, not Friday afternoon?

*"terrorists" used in its purest form - one who intentionally induces terror through threat of physical harm - not a catchall for 'anyone with brown skin'

It doesn't help that the Rochester police chief even somewhat resembles Peter Griffin.

It seems it may have just been a crazy guy on a bender who was supposed to appear in court at 1:30 pm but instead went down the street with road flares under his sweater.

Well, I suppose they might. But Quahog is in Rhode Island, on the complete other side of Massachusetts. They'll have to make a special Quahog adaptation of the event. Simple enough! :)

this is happening up the street from me!!!!! This is the biggest thing to ever happen to Rochester. People are pissed cause they blocked off a bunch of roads that are routes to Deer hunting spots, not worried that there are hostages being held! LOL! Rochester is kind of like a scary town you would find in the south, people like nascar, country music and wear mullets and live in trailers.

Funny thing about the peter griffin thing is we moved here from Massachusetts to NH and people say we talk like the family guy all the time , New Hampshire accents are more subtle but probably to outsiders we all sound they same.

Don't forget the roads were also blocked off to some of their favorites BARS. My god, they couldn't get to Slim's.

If you think Rochester is scary, try living in East Rochester. (I lived on Green Street for 15 years).
