It's Monday

Damien and I went on the tour of the downtown loft apartments yesterday, which were pretty cool all in all. I dug the two we saw in the CHancellor Building, they were very dark and had a ton of character, but the new ones that are under construction in the Flowers Building kick much ass - especially the gorgeous double decker lofts on the 4th floor. Uh...Mah... GAH... Poor baby's knee was acting up and giving him fits, but he hung in there through all of those steps and I'm proud of him. Oh - Dr. Thorsen's loft is the most opulent interior I've ever seen in any home in Columbus. He and his wife have fabulous taste, I was very impressed with the kitchen and master bathroom. Too bad he's a complete asshole that I have no respect for. Do NOT take your animals to Northside Veterinary Clinic. He fines his vet techs for things that are not their fault and then gives the money to the receptionists and office staff who did nothing exceptional to earn it. It's fucked, I know - but that's life in some circles.

In honor of The Sopranos Season Finale last night, Maggie made 2 huge pans of baked ziti and a big greek salad, all of which rocked serious balls. The show was good, but extremely anti-climactic which sucked. I'm kind of pissed about that, but the new advert for the upcoming season of Oz kicked ass and had me yelling "YES!! YES!!!!!!!!" I'm still having a hard time with this being the final season of my beloved Oz, but there you go. There was also a cool advert for the upcoming season of Six Feet Under, which I'm looking forward to.

For those of you so inclined, Angie Aparo is playing The Loft on Wednesday. He puts on a great show. Also, in honor of my 32nd birthday this Saturday, we're going out to dinner at Ok Sun on Friday night and then to Peachbowl Lanes to go bowling. Presents are not necessary, just come and hang out. I'd love for all of my friends to come and spend some time with me, but for those of you bitching and at odds with each other, keep that shit away from me or I'll put you on blast in a big way. For the record, it sucks that I even have to say that and want to make it known that some of you guys just need to get a new asshole and get over yourselves. Agree to disagree, suck it up, and don't ever - EVER - antagonize each other again. That or just leave one another alone forever, and never even so much as speak about each other again. On second thought, let THAT be my birthday present. I love you guys, but your bullshit sometimes just bores the ass right off me, and I have a big ass for a cracker.

Found this survey from missingyourbed, decided it was one of the few worthwhile ones I've seen that I'd consider bothering with...
