I love Kristen Breitweiser. I think she is tremendous, as are all of the people who can not just pick up their lives in the wake of horrific tragedy and move on, which is hard enough, but who use their grief as a motivating tool for useful change. I identify with that in ways that only people who get to experience it firsthand for themselves can. Commonalities like this are significant because it's a light switch that cannot be turned off once it gets flipped on. It takes a person of courage, substance, and fortitude to hold people accountable and be able to handle taking the kind of scrutiny and spiteful, rhetorical bullshit thrown at them like 'The Jersey Girls' have, in particular that special brand of venom spat directly from the fangs of Ann Coulter.
Read A Letter to Ann Coulter, by Kristen Breitweiser. Read it, comment to it, and post about it. And buy her book as well.
