Day Two... Toothless In Columbus...

I'm amazed that I'm handling this as well as I am. When I don't think about it, I'm okay. My upper jaw aches and the sockets where the teeth used to be are pretty sore. I can feel where I got the shots (11 total in my gums) and I can't taste anything but that metallic taste from the iron in my blood. I cannot tell if I'm bleeding now or if it's just a constant slow thing. Either way, the freaky thing is trying to adjust to not having the teeth. My tongue is freaking out now that it has new places to go.

I slept for crap last night, I kept waking up every hour or so and had to get up and go spit out blood. I'm hoping tonight that that won't happen again.

For the most part, I'm just very happy to have the bad teeth out. The amount of pain I was in was just ridiculous. I wasn't able to chew half the time, there were days where I had to eat a lukewarm meal just so nothing too hot or too cold would come into contact with the "Bad-Uns", as I refer to the wayward molars.

On another upside (eternal optimist), I can smile really big and show all of the teeth I normally show and you cannot tell a thing!
