I was just listening to Cold by Annie Lennox yesterday and I played it a few times a realized how much I really like that song. If you didnt know, I am a professional dancer, and that song is perfect for lyrical choreography...I really should choreograph to that song...
I was listening to that Billy Joel all week to help cope with all this stuff at work. What are you doing this weekend? I want to get together and make a CD for that friend we talked about.
If I wasn't having the worst allergy atacks ever, I might not mind being overcommitted for the weekend. As it is, I'm pretty much doing stuff until tomorrow night. If you want you can email me a list of songs and I'll make a cd for you.
I'll have to make you some cd's of their stuff, but for the time being you can download a lot of their MP3's and videos directly from the site: http://www.sigur-ros.co.uk/media/index.html
I've always loved the Indigo Girls (yeah, i know.. how lesbian of me ;) )... I've been in a very "downtempo" mood recently... these songs just really struck me.
Also, very glad to see someone else who loves Sigur Rós :)
play that funky music, right?
play that funky music, white boy.
lay down the boogie
and play that funky music
'til you die.
'til you die.
Okay, well not so much, but I was trying to gety into the spirit of your comment. I'm sorry I missed your call the other night, BTW.
2) Thank YOU!
Just assembled it in iTunes. Some wonderful tracks that I hadn't heard before

Eva Cassidy, ditto.
Cowboys and Angels is, I think, George Michael's best song.
