Had dinner with Jennie earlier tonight, which was fun. The best part was when I was explaining how I had thought about her a couple of days ago, someone mentioned sitting shiva in a movie and I had to explain what that was to both her and Damien - I'm like "This is interesting, I'm explaining to a Jew what sitting shiva is!" She quickly corrected me by explaining "Yeah, but I'm not an observant Jew!" Once I explained it, she remembered and we all sort of giggled. Afterward, Damien & I went back to his apartment and watched Torch Song Trilogy, which is one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time. If you haven't seen it, shame on you.
Everybody dig the new icon? I made it in honor of the fact that next month is our two year anniversary. We're celebrating in Savannah and Tybee Island. Yup. We're also going to Jacksonville to my dear friend/sister/old Atlanta roomate Monique's wedding, where I'll get to see many loved ones I've not seen in several years - some of whom I've never even met. I'm excited. I'm going to bring lots of pictures and am going to take even more.
So anyway, I'm working on some 100 X 100 mini movies, but they're being bitches - the lot of them. If I could figure out how to better get the individual frames, then I'd have a better chance of something looking fairly decent. As it is I have made two of Jeff Buckley but they're not very well done. One is where he's singing Hallelujah during the recording of the Grace album, the other is from the So Real video. I'll get it down pat sooner or later.
With that, I'm off - sweet dreams...
