I have to laugh at this, I really do. It goes from one extreme to the other, which in an of itself is part of why I find it funny. I'm talking about the new video game created by people with ties to Rick Warren (The Porpoise Purpose Driven Life) and Tim LaHaye (crackpot preacher & author of the Left Behind series, also married to eville™ übercuntress Beverly LaHaye, founder of Concerned Dried-Up-Old-Cunts Evil Bitches Women For America). The game is called "Left Behind: Eternal Forces", and I first heard about it on C&L: (The Purpose Driven Life Takers | The Purpose Driven Life Takers-Part II). Talk2Action was the source, there are also screenshots and a thread that's pretty amusing as well. Towleroad joined into the fray as well, but I really don't think there's anything new going on in the post. invidereliana emailed me a link to a LA Times story on the subject also: (Converting Video Games Into Instruments of God) and then I find a rebuttal to all of these charges in a blogpost on ChristianCadre. THAT thread is interesting! Thing is this - I don't think that people like the LaHayes and the James Dobsons, Jerry Falwells, Pat Robertsons, and Louis Sheldons of the world represent Christianity and I know there are scores of Christians that are horrified by their antics. They no more represent Christianity than the Taliban or Al Qaeda represent Islam. They no more represent Christianity than the marines involved in the Haditha massacre represent the entirety of the Corps. This doesn't change the fact that it IS these people who have hijacked our government and are holding its balls hostage. Republicans invented the Frankenfundies, now they have to live with them and their bullshit. Spin it any way you want to, them's the facts.

And then, adding insult to injury, consider the blatant hypocrisy of these Republicans who have NO RIGHT WHATSOEVER to even have an opinion on the subject, let alone influence. The perversion runs rampant in the GOP ranks, people! And these are the people who get an opportunity to speak for us all. Darwin bless Jack Cafferty, though - he nails it so hard I bet Wolf Blitzer shit his pants in the Situation Room. At least I hope he did, anyway. Not just the ones in government, but the puppets who spew one thing and then before you can blink make a complete mockery of everything they profess to hold sacred. Consider Bill O'Lielly and his recent interview with Gen. Wesley Clark where B-O' fucked up and brought up Malmedy. Watch the video, I have never seen Clark react like that - it's beautiful. A while ago I found a mosaic of der Chimpenfuhrer wherein the photos that compromised the image were those of American soldiers who have died in Iraq. I've boosted the image and made it into an iron-on t-shirt transfer. All you have to do is download the transfer, print it on iron-on transfer paper (you can get it at Walmart, Target, Staples, anywhere you can get printer paper, really) and follow the transfer paper directions. The transfer itself is a large, hi-res (8.5" X 11", 300ppi, 16.27MB zipped) image in reverse so that it'll appear correctly on your t-shirt once you iron it on.
