When will the reign of Fundamentalist Christian terror end?

Nearly half of all Americans believe the U.S. government should restrict the civil liberties of Muslim-Americans, according to a nationwide poll.
The survey conducted by Cornell University also found that Republicans and people who described themselves as highly religious were more apt to support curtailing Muslims’ civil liberties than Democrats or people who are less religious. ( Collapse )
Excuse me, but what the shit is this? What the bloody fucking shit is THIS? Did we get an accurate representation of the nation at large by sampling within different areas of the country, or did we only call people in Rhea County, Tennessee?
This kind of bullshit makes me absolutely insane. You have to know where this is coming from, I'd be willing to bet that this contingent of 44% in favor of egregiously violating another American citizen's civil liberties is also in favor of a Federal Marriage Amendment, is a Neocon fuckwit, and is using their position as a God Fearing Christian to make these kinds of baseless, naziesque assertions.
Not everyone is a Christian, you stupid assholes. Not everyone believes just like you do, and they're just as American as you are. Actually, moreso - because embracing diversity is what makes us truly American.
