Joy unbounded...

I had planned on spending last evening here getting stuff in order for the Abuse team, but got a call that changed plans. My friend Tarah was coming home again, her mother has taken another serious turn for the worse. We went up to Atlanta last night and picked her up from the airport and brought her home, I got back ito town at midnight or so. The house was completely empty, so I went to bed. Close to 3, everyone came home drunk as hell and managed (at some point or another) to get in bed with me, thereby waking me up and delaying sleep for another 2 1/2 hours or so. It was almost 8 people piled up on my bed at one point, I think.

I'm worried about Tarah and the family, I know very well from experience what they are going through. It is a little easier knowing I'm only a short walk away, maybe 10 minutes if I go fast. I'm hoping they take me up on my offer to help out wherever I need them, so Tarah make sure you remind Chuck about what I said. Make sure that you call me at some point tomorrow and let me know what I need to do, then consider it done.

Spent this afternoon with Damien just to get out of the house for a bit, then came home. I wanted to take some pictures, but the weather wasn't very cooperative. Shame, since it was very overcast before the rain came and that kind of light is the best for the photos I like.

Tonight is the season finalé of Queer As Folk, and I'm hoping that immediately after I'll be ready for bed. I've already got the teapot set up.
