Last night on the Abrams Report, one of the topics was the issue of gay marriage. Winnie Stachelberg, Political Director for the Human Rights Campaign was scheduled to appear, but instead they had a "debate" of sorts between Jerry Falwell and Margaret Cho. Yes, Falsewell and Cho. I had a mini seizure when I saw this, and Maggie and Nathan both looked at me wide eyed. It was interesting. On the O'Reilly Factor last night, Bill O'Reilly was his usual idiot self and kept as far away from any real argument as was possible - instead choosing some archaic, whiny rhetoric that was deviod of sense. Not that I expect anything less of him.

I had a very bizarre nightmare last night, it woke me up and scared me enough that I couldn't get back to sleep for almost an hour. Only thing is, I can hardly remember it in retrospect.

Today is my father's birthday, I am hoping that he answers my email today about our family Christmas deal. It's supposed to be on the 27th, as that is when my family from Atlanta, Rome, and DC are going to be here at the same time. I have to talk to him about some things as well as offer my help in getting the house set up for Christmas. My mother is coming for a week on Sunday, my sisters Shay and Lucy are driving up to get her and bring her back here. I might be driving up with them, I'm not sure.

I saw the ad below recently, it is another reason why I feel so strongly about what the Human Rights Campaign does and why I feel the work is important. Massachusetts was just a stepping stone, and I hope it's not the smallest one in the long run. Anyway, please look carefully at this ad and remote link it to your own journal if you will please.
