For all of the mutual friends/acquaintances of pacwastaken, we talked for a while, and I think he feels a bit more steady. Please make yourselves more available to him if he needs you, it's going to be a while before he gets where he needs to be and support from all of us is what he needs right now. All you need to do is be available if he needs you for something. I know he would do it for me, and I expect he would do it for any one you as well. If you don't know what I'm talking about by now and you're not his friend, then this does not concern you so please pay no mind.

Thank you to sparklestargirl for being so helpful and generally being such a sweetie, I love you to bits Kelly!

We are all a family. Our job is to pick each other up when we fall. That is enough to get us all through whatever we need in time.

Pac, you know where I am if you need me, and if you do then you'd better call me. Even if you're not sure you need me but just want to talk.

Finished writing my review of Jeff Buckley's Grace for the magazine, will post it today. I've tweaked the settings for slant_magazine, those of you on the magazine staff please check your email from Livejournal and confirm your membership if you haven't already.

Bigger, faster, sweatier, skinnier, whiter, blacker, Gracer.......

It's funny. I swear, I cannot ever escape this man and this album, not that I would ever want to or anything. I just find myself always coming back to Jeff Buckley's GRACE like it is the oldest, dearest friend I have in the world, the one I have the most history with, the one I know better than most anything else.

I made a new fan of his music today, I sent "Lover, You Should've Come Over" to clubgirl4u and she loved it. It made me happy. Last night in Barnes & Noble, I was in the CD section opposite this guy looking in the A's & B's. He looked up at me and I smiled and said "Directly under you is an album called GRACE by a musician named Jeff Buckley. It is my duty to tell you that you have to buy it." He looked at me and smiled back, saying "Yes - I have it and Sketches For My Sweetheart The Drunk - 'Hallelujah' is my favorite song."

Ever wanted to hug &/or kiss a complete stranger once you discover in them a significant commonality that shows they just "get it"?
