Sarah Palin's Baby May Actually Be Teen Daughter's Child

Go Obey Your Husband You Stupid Republic

Someone in this picture is 6 months pregnant...
Bristol Palin Pregnancy: Is VP Sarah Palin’s 5th Child Really Her Daughters? (Photos)

There are news reports suggesting that abstinence-only, pro-life, Republican VP hopeful Sarah Palin's 4 month old son may in fact be her teenage daughter Bristol's child. Suspicions began during her pregnancy when her lack of a baby bump was cause for scrutiny in pictures - while Bristol clearly has... something going on. People were really surprised when she announced her pregnancy. People are even more surprised that the hospital she claims to have given birth in has no such thing on their announcements page for that day.

Bristol Palin left school for 5 months before the baby was born with a case of 'mono', and her mother didn't announce that she was pregnant until 8 months into the alleged pregnancy. She returned to work 3 days after allegedly giving birth. Friends of Bristol's have suggested that she actually did look pregnant. Let me be clear in my own speculation here - this is not what I imagine a seven month pregnant woman should look like. This is more in line with the later stages of pregnancy looks like, as Palin does in the picture I just linked to.

There's a piece about this on DKos wherein ArcXIX calls her a liar outright. There's an iReport on CNN.com with multiple links in it (some of which I used in this post already) and lots of links in the threads. I personally believe all of this, and further believe that the photo taken during the VP announcement was staged on purpose. Why isn't the alleged father of this child holding his own special needs infant son at such an important occasion? Also, I agree with many of you - Mr. Palin looks like a total power bottom.

You decide:
Six months pregnant: Photo 1, Photo 2
Seven months pregnant: Photo 1, Photo 2

So - what say you? Are you buying this or do you think she's telling the truth? If it's true, this blows yet another HUGE hole in the abstinence only argument. Which for me really matters. Also, I rather enjoy someone who is so completely self righteous and deluded getting exposed for being a liar when you get right down to it.

Ah, hypocrisy - schadenfreude be thy name...

The picture in the green shirt with the "bump" isn't as convincing to me as the total lack of a bump on Sarah.
5 months and even 6 months I could see being hid.... but 7 months you can tell.

Is there any info on the baby's birth weight? If it was a big baby....

6.2 lbs. Read the Kos Diary.

Ok, she in no way looks pregnant in those photos.

I dunno, but her elder son's actually pretty hot...

Did she learn nothing from Bree Hodges off Desperate Housewives ;-)

All this proves to me is that Democrats are even nastier than Republicans when it comes to negative campaigning and the politics of personal destruction.

I agree. Isn't partisan character assassination disgusting?
31st-Aug-2008 09:57 pm (UTC)
This is totally immature of me to say this, but this is such a delicious piece of gossip.

Indeed - as is the Bale icon.

Oh, God, I shouldn't be laughing. I really shouldn't.

(Bonus points to 90% of the coverage on this issue being free of misogynist filth, though.)

When I was in med school we had a lot of training with pregnancies on OB/GYN. There are women who can go to full term and show little to no outward evidence especially in the right clothing. All of these photos show her either in coats, black clothing or with her hands across her lower abdomen. Not all pregnant women gain a lot of weight with pregnancy. If she's as avid a sportsperson as she's portrayed then it would not be outside the realm of possibility to look as thin as she did.

Her politics aside, I don't know why on earth she would pull such a stunt that could be so easily discovered. If her daughter was pregnant and out of school for that long then why not just adopt the baby out? Why claim that the baby is hers? This just smacks too much of really low-blow politics. Plus having a Downs baby is more consistent with the pregnancy of a 44 year old woman than a teenager. I think it's beneath civilized discourse to go after someone's kids, especially a baby. The only way we'll ever get back to politicians who actually work as they're supposed to is to focus on the issues and leave the personal attacks to the likes of Perez Hilton.

Agreed. Sarah Palin is an awful pick for VP; her looks and her last child have nothing to do with any of it.

7 months, photo 2: she's wearing a goddamn 2-inch wide hard leather belt. I'd love to see a pregnant woman pull that off.

Easy Answer....

Check the Birth Certificate... that should be public... right?

1st-Sep-2008 04:00 pm (UTC)
In the case of an instant adoption that has be pre-arranged the birth cert shows the name of the adoptive parents. Sometimes they issue one with the birth mothers name on it and seal it then re-issue, but not always.

Here's another picture I thought was interesting:

There's one more from that same day, but I can't find it -- it shows the oldest girl holding the baby and I swear she looks heavier than in any of the other pictures I've seen of her. Her arms and legs, especially.

I find it interesting that here, more than anywhere, the "Father" of the picture isn't holding the baby. He really ought to be holding the baby.

He ought to be, but isn't "runt" work "cunt" work?

Oh yes, the mean ol Democrats going after the angelic and innocent republicans. Wah.

Fuck right off. Seriously. Wrap it up, lick it, and shove it up your ass. 10-20 years of theocratic, christofascist character assassination, throwing out the most hideous and awful shit, and now you want people to feel BAD for the Republicans?

Fuck that. RAPE THEM UNTIL THEY DIE OF INTERNAL POLITICAL INJURIES. Drink their blood. Wear their skins. Dance in a puddle of their innards. They *earned* a bloodbath for 20 years of acting like animals.

*walks away completly boggled*

You're so hot when you talk like that. I mean, you're hot as smoking fuck anyway, but this just makes it all that much more so...

This is highly suspicious, but, one of my co-workers from my last job did not show until she was at almost 8 months, and then, she just looked like she put on weight. I haven't found any info on how tall Gov. Palin is? Do you know? If she's tall and relatively curvy (or even just kind of curvy), her pregnancy might not have shown (knowing the baby was premature, probably small due to being a T21 baby, Trisomy 21/Down's Syndrome). Only way to know for sure is to do genetic testing on the baby and make sure it does not have a set of genes that can't be accounted for by Gov Palin or her husband. The "mystery" daddy theory would be accounted for quickly that way (and pretty cheaply now too).

Her FIFTH baby?

She didn't start showing until her 8th month with her FIFTH baby? Come on now. I just don't even know how that's possible. I mean, I know it *is* possible, but really, really, REALLY unlikely, I don't care what kind of shape she was in.

A body that has borne four babies previously is going to show the obvious signs of weight against the abdominal wall pretty early.

I mean, maybe it's just a vicious rumor...but the circumstantial evidence is crazy.

AND--who gets on a plane from Texas to Alaska when they are in labor? AND FURTHERMORE--whose doctor "oks" that???
1st-Sep-2008 01:51 pm (UTC)
Exactly on all points.
1st-Sep-2008 05:11 am (UTC)
Ugh. This rumor makes me ill. Yeah, it's suspicious as hell. Yeah, it's probably true. I can't preach reproduction as a woman's private choice with one breath and criticize two women for deciding to keep the matter private in the next.
1st-Sep-2008 01:50 pm (UTC)
Oh but I can, especially when one of them is a proponent of abstinence only sex education, against certain forms of birth control, is rabidly pro-life, and might be in a position to eventually stack the Supreme Court with right wing conservative justices who WILL overturn Roe V. Wade.
