Like I said, when you go to the farmer's market tomorrow, WHATEVER YOU DO, do NOT get me a pound of Colombian French roast ground for auto drip. Resist all urges to acquire this delicious and coveted treasure of chocolate colored, fragrant artisanal alchemy with which we absolutely would make heavenly iced coffee drinks here at home, though you will only be inches away from it when you order your fresh ground nut butter, chocolate croissants, and multigrain bread.

DON'T. DO. IT.

Make a pot of very strong coffee. If you like cinnamon, throw a little in the brew basket. Once it's done brewing and had time to cool down, pour it into a pitcher with a can of sweetened condensed milk. Stir it well and keep it on the lowest shelf in your refrigerator. To serve, pour it over ice in a tall glass.

I sometimes add vanilla or almond extracts if I want additional flavoring. A bit of dark chocolate syrup is nice as well.

Oooooh, I'll hang on to that for later reference. Thanks!

Sure thing, love!

Well, so far I've made 3 pitchers of this and they've all turned out really well! (I determined I only needed half a can of the milk for a 2-quart pitcher and just a bit of vanilla. I'll have to try the syrup sometime.)

And I love that Joker avatar - I thought the same thing the first time I saw a trailer with him up in her face like that. *G*

Awesome! Glad you liked it and saw for yourself how easy it is to do.

Isn't it a riot?

That sounds really nummy. I have a sligth fetish for hazelnut flavoring in my coffee. Could I add the syrup to this?

And would this be appropriate to blend with some ice and Kaluah or Bailey's?

Try it and make it your own, there's no real set of rules for these things.
