Kucinich introduces articles of impeachment against Bush.
Video of a portion of Kucinich’s speech:
This evening on the House floor, Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) is presenting 35 articles of impeachment against President Bush to Congress. “The first article Kucinich presented regarded the war in Iraq. ‘Article 1: Creating a secret propaganda campaign to manufacture a false case for war against Iraq.’”
The downside? This would put Cheney in charge. Bombing campaigns against Iran would be pushed heavily and covertly.

Hmm.

I'm torn between my loathing for Cheney, and my desire to see Bush impeached, even if nothing gets decided before January.

we don't, necessarily, have to allow the dark one to take power in order to get rid of the monkey-man. kucinich filed aticles of impeachment for cheney months ago, and it is possible to pursue them both at the same time.

no waiting! please, no need for pushing and shoving, we can impeach you both!! i suppose some pushing and shoving is ok... but only as long as i continue to find it funny.

It's about fucking time! Impeach them both! And then, when that's done, take away all their ill-gotten profits and leave them bankrupt. Then they can see what it's like to pay $4.00/gal for gas!

Amen-fucking-men to that.

Yeah, "Economic Stimulus" my fucking ass. It's all going to petrol.
11th-Jun-2008 05:38 am (UTC)
And you're going to get taxed on it next year as income!

Hmmm, according to the mail I received this week confirming my Economic Stimulus disbursement, it is NOT taxable income.

I had heard differently; I'm glad that is not the case.

I love Kuchinich. Him, Boucher, Kennedy and Gravel are the only democrats with balls.

Hehehe. Boucher was my Congresscritter - in his first term, no less - when I lived in Virginia in the early 80's. :-}}}}

I don't agree with everything (hell, who does?) but his fighting for digital rights for consumers is very admirable. Precious few supported that, unfortunately, they're all bought and sold by corps.

At the time, my family was fighting the Labor Dept. to secure "Black Lung" survivor's benefits for my grandmother, since my late grandfather had been a coal miner for 46 years, until 2 years before he died. Rep. Boucher, in addition to being the only Democrat then in the Virginia delegation, was an immense help in ensuring that my grandmother was financially independent until the day she died.

If you listen to everyone in the background laughing at him this will obviously never go through. Also, Cheney is also mentioned in a lot of his articles so if Bush was found guilty of them most of his cabinet probably would be as well.

Yet, not one word about this historic event from CNN at all, except for this buried article I found on their website about the senator's website.

"Rep. Dennis Kucinich's re-election Web site crashed Tuesday, and the Ohio Democrat is a bit suspicious over the timing.

According to a statement released by Kucinich's congressional campaign, the site was "shut down this morning by a series of suspicious and fast-moving events" only hours after the congressman's newly-introduced articles of impeachment against President Bush were posted."

WHAT THE FUCK, MEDIA?
