BACK DOOR BOY IN A FRONT DOOR WORLD
OUTSIDE OF SOCIETY - THAT'S WHERE I WANT TO BE
On The Scott McClellan Book

"Well, why, all of a sudden, if he (Richard Clarke) had all these grave concerns, did he not raise these sooner? This is one-and-a-half years after he left the administration. And now, all of a sudden, he’s raising these grave concerns that he claims he had. And I think you have to look at some of the facts. One, he is bringing this up in the heat of a presidential campaign. He has written a book and he certainly wants to go out there and promote that book."

Scott McClellan press briefing on March 22, 2004 when asked about Richard Clarke’s book blasting the Bush Administration for 9/11 and CIA intelligence failures
Whatever, you complicit fuckbag. You said nor did anything that mattered when it would have mattered, your credibility is just as suspect as anyone else who has enabled that administration. Squeal all you want to now and make your money, that's fine - but knock off the moral high ground bullshit. Tool.

My favorite part was Karl Rove saying that he was no longer the man he knew. HAHAHAHA, you mean he's jumped ship the treacherous way? Yeah I bet you haven't seen that before. Narking on someone is only acceptable if it's the enemy right?

Yeah ... as amused as I am by yet ANOTHER damning tome against the administration, I couldn't help feeling a little dirty for feeling so, because he's just matter-of-factly admitting that he aided in misleading a nation into death and destruction and war crimes. (It really doesn't make me feel better that I knew he was lying back when he was doing it, either.)

I guess Scotty was having too much trouble getting a date out of Austin's gay cowboy dance bar. Maybe he should try Dallas where the Log Cabin crowd is much stronger.

I rather enjoyed the Rude Pundit's review.

I'm waiting for my favorite independent book-seller, Jesus' General, to weigh-in on this P.O.S. tome.

What I love is how all the critics of this book have pretty much just been calling Clarke names but no one has denied any of his accusations. The White House just said that Clarke is 'disgruntled,' but they didn't say that he was wrong.
