Clinton: It'd be 'terrible mistake' to pick McCain over Obama
Hillary Clinton on Wednesday reiterated her vow to stay in the Democratic presidential race, but she said it would be a "terrible mistake" for her supporters to vote for John McCain over Barack Obama.

"Anybody who has ever voted for me or voted for Barack has much more in common in terms of what we want to see happen in our country and in the world with the other than they do with John McCain," Clinton said on CNN's "The Situation Room."

"I'm going to work my heart out for whoever our nominee is. Obviously, I'm still hoping to be that nominee, but I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that anyone who supported me ... understands what a grave error it would be not to vote for Sen. Obama."

Clinton was responding to a question from a CNN iReporter who asked why she thought so many of her supporters would choose McCain over Obama.

I think it's interesting how Clinton and Obama have done McCain's work for him - how much does it cost to pay someone to sit back and write down all the negative stuff they're saying to each other, so McCain can use it later against whomever gets the nom? $50,000? Maybe $70,000 salary? Hell of a lot cheaper than even one national paper ad or a TV ad.

Hillary is kissing Obama's ass now because she knows she's done. John Edwards' support for Obama today pretty much sealed the deal.

There's no way in fuck I will vote for Obama. I of course would never vote for McCain either. Hillary is being PC political in her comments above, as is expected and is the diplomatic thing to do. However, as a Hillary supporter and a woman, I am completely disgusted and pissed off in how Hillary was mis-treated by the MSM, the Democratic party, flip-flopping superdelegates, and lastly, the brutally meanspirited people who supported Obama all the long who took part in breaking down Hillary's participation in this primary. I am offended by how she and Bill have been branded as racists by words taken completely out of context.

If Obama is the nominee, fate will determine if he will be president, but it will be w/o my vote. I don't think he has a chance in hell in the GE anyway.

I think Hillary's camp has done the same to Obama. It's not a one-way accusatorial road.
