I love love love it when I think I've lost something precious to me, then out of nowhere find it again. In this case it is a few of my favorite albums. I thought I lost two albums I grew up listening to and adored, but here they are again - Hyaena & Tinderbox by Siouxsie & The Banshees.

ALL HAIL SIOUXSIE!!

Greg just recently got me into Siouxie and the Banshees.

On a single-song listen it just sounds like a bunch of harmonic mistakes. But on a whole album listen I was blown away to discover their 'mistakes' are thematic and intentional and that once you learn their harmonic language, there is a fresh unique musical voice there,

I am a HUGE Siouxsie geek. Let me know if there is anything special you need.

Also, sometime listen to Tinderbox back to back with U2's The Unforgettable Fire. Especially the songs "The Sweetest Chill" and "The Unforgettable Fire". Besides sharing a color palate, these albums seem to share a very similar airy, but warm quality.
