"The signal that it sends, that there is in any way a lack of support for our commander in chief who is leading us with a bold vision in a way that is making our homeland safer, is wrong."

Would somebody remind this prick he leads the party that impeached a popular president during wartime?

(hat tip to Bartcop)

Oh yeah, when was the last time I mentioned the magic number? 34%, folks. *stabs an apologist*

I think you meant "censured" not "censored". :)

Right-O, thanks!

Frist wants the Republican nomination in '08 so badly he can taste it - he just can't decide if the best way to get it is to disagree with Bush at every turn, or sick his dick seven ways to Sunday.

You know, I meant "suck" but honestly, can you say Frist's lips on your piece wouldn't make it wilt - or something worse - for life? *shudders*

You may know the answer to this question....
Is there debate going around on whether or not George Bush be impeached? I turned on the news (which I rarely do) and came in at the end of a story and I think they said something about Bush doing something that they believe to be impeachable.
So...did something happen recently or did I just come in at the wrong end of the story?
Or do you even know what I'm talking about? =P

There's an essay in the current Harper's Magazine, "The Case for Impeachment." I found some of it online at http://www.harpers.org/TheCaseForImpeachment.html - I don't know if this is all of it, but it's also on newsstands now, like at B&N or Borders.

Senator Bill "Terry Schaivo" Frist isn't going to do a thing about Dear Leader's Executive Branch power grab because Frist sees himself as the heir apparent to that horde of unConstitutionally-granted-no-checks-or-balances excess of power.

Even as poll numbers continue to slide, this bunch or power-addicts cannot envision themselves not continuing to win and not being in office. I'm sticking with my Election Night '04 prediction: Hubris will bring about the downfall of the Republican power-elite.

Oh word! I'm utterly disgusted by the lack of spine the rest of the Dems are showing on this and other issues. Go Feingold!
