This is the front of the house with the porch and support columns removed.

This is the front door as seen from the entrance foyer and hallway.

Main staircase seen from the foyer.

Front door, as seen from standing halfway up the staircase. Note the column footing at the bottom of the stairs, it is one of the original ones.

Top of the stairs looking back to the stairwell.

Graffiti mural on the ballroom wall.

Graffiti mural on the far left wall of the foyer - the door leads to the parlor.

Interior entrance to the basement, at the bottom left of these stairs is the cellar door.

Cellar stairs as seen from the basement stair railing, the cellar is one half floor below the basement.

This is the basement. I was standing under the main staircase in the house, facing southwest.

This is the southwesternmost corner of the cellar.

Yes, this is the place on 17th in Wynnton. It is currently in restoration, and the owner has agreed to let me make a photographic record of the construction detail. I'm also getting him historic info on the house, since I already have it and he's kind of in need of my knowledge of the house.

WOW!! and yes, they are restoring this, if i've been reading you correctly? i think it will be positively GORGEOUS when they finish!! (please say they are restoring it, and not demolishing it, like i am recalling you might have said... early afternoon wakings, i'm groggy, and don't recall.) i can see that it must have been a truly beautiful house once.

It is in restoration to it's original state, I'm ecstatic to report. I have an old write up I did on the house a while back - it's here if you'd like to read it. I have old pictures of the house from when it was built and from different modifications that I might end up reposting, it's just a question of time to get the pictures cropped and uploaded again.

WOW! I had no idea the inside of the house was so full of graffiti! I love that curved landing on that staircase!
